From the A14 Highway exit "Loreto-Porto Recanati": take the first on your right (SS16) heading for Macerata; follow through for 4.8 km, then turn right on via Santa Maria in Potenza, heading for Cingoli/Macerata. Drive on for about 20 km, until you reach Passo di Treia. Turn right on Contrada San Marco Vecchio, heading to Treia/Cingoli.
Drive on uphill for about km 3. When you get to a cross-road on top of the hill, turn left downhill direction Ancona/San Lorenzo. After three hundred meters, turn left, heading to San Lorenzo.
Drive on uphill for about km 6 until you get to the Church of San Lorenzo, at the crossroad make a right downhill, after about m 400 you take a pink dirt-road downhill on your right; after m 200 you will get to "La Siesta": enjoy the quiet, the view, the library, the hikes and the surroundings!
You could also take a train to Ancona, or fly to the near airport of Ancona-Falconara and then rent a car. Other near airports are Perugia-Sant'Egidio (107 Km), Rimini-Fellini (139 Km), Bologna-Marconi (260 Km), or Roma-Fiumicino (352 Km).
